Buy toys - build your own robot!

Are you inspired by the Battle of the Clots and want to build your own fighting robot? We've experienced that the official Lego Power Functions L motors, Monster/Buggy motors and remote controls are indispensable for building a Battle of the Clots robot because of their robustness and power. Unfortunately, Lego no longer produces them, offering weaker and less suitable Control+ or EV3 systems as replacements.

That's why we offer a solution - we sell high-quality alternative bricks and motors that are fully compatible with the Lego Technic system. Our range includes the powerful L motors, Monster/Buggy motors and reliable remote controls you need to build a strong and competitive robot. If enough people are interested, we will arrange group orders directly from the manufacturer to guarantee you the best price and availability! Contact us if you would like to source the parts you need to build your robot.

FAQ

Building a robot is an integral part of the Battle of the Bricks experience! Here are some general guidelines and suggestions to keep in mind when building your robot:

  1. Structure and durability: Need a bunch of Lego Technic parts. Use a lot extended beams and frames, to create a strong and stable base. The robot must be able to withstand impacts and collisions.

  2. Movement: A successful robot is based on good mobility. To achieve this, we recommend using at least two Power Functions L engines (or our alternative) on the wheels to ensure adequate speed and manoeuvrability. Choose durable wheels, which offer good traction in the arena.

  3. Armament: Every fighting robot needs a weapon! To operate a weapon is ideal Monster/Buggy motor (or our alternative) as it provides sufficient force for impact or rotary weapons. Think about which weapon is most effective - a pusher, a saw, a hammer or something else unexpected?

  4. Governance: You need a Power Functions console (or our alternative) to control the robot. Make sure all motors are connected correctly and respond to the commands from the remote.

  5. Protection: Think about protection too! How can you protect the most vulnerable parts of your robot from enemy attacks? Use strong panels and shields in strategic places.

Don't be afraid to experiment and create something unique! In a brick fight, the only limit is your imagination.
